when i was 13, i was cast out by my family.. papa said, "you are the most useless gargoyle to have existed. do not disgrace our family any further." or something like that.i did not wish to stay in the darklands, it was sad, a place where power and status meant everything. it was simply.. not for me, so i left.i left to walk among the humans, i have observed them for years and they seemed quite okay, i thought, why not? i studied their customs from afar, watched many a time as they fought and took each other's lives over the most trivial of things. for many years i thought, "this is the same as the darklands", but something about humans made me want to learn more about them.decades have passed and i am glad i stayed. times have changed, and while division still exists, i have taken liking to a community. here exists the big and small, frail and strong, some of them aren't even human, but they love and respect each other just the same!they have been very welcoming of me, i feel like i have finally found a place where i can be myself. everyday i am still learning something about the new world, despite the many years i have been here. which is why i look forward to tomorrows and the many new people i will get to befriend!p.s. i also really like the food here hehe ♡
